JOSEPH THE STEP-FATHER OF GOD
We don't know much about Joseph - the father of Jesus.
He was a tradesman, working with his hands.
But it is interesting to read the Christmas story through the eyes of this man.

1. Matthew 1:18-19 Joseph's first reaction is grace. He would divorce Mary quietly.
He showed mercy even though the situation doesn't warrant it.

2. We also see wisdom. not worldly wisdom - he knew when to stop and listen.
3. Love. John 8:41
Jesus was attacked about his heredity. Joseph knew that people would talk about Mary. But he loved her anyway and went through the plan of God with her

WHAT JOSEPH DID WAS AMAZING. BUT WHAT JESUS OFFERS IS UNBELIEVABLY BETTER
